Show Love to Neighbors at Lehigh Valley Pride

This year, our church will once again have a presence at Lehigh Valley Pride on Sunday August 18. At our booth last year, we handed out information about our church, collected prayer requests, and distributed bottles of cold water. In all of it, we were able to remind our neighbors: “God loves you!” This is a deeply important message to share, especially with those in our community who have often experienced rejection from many churches. 

We invite you to sign up to help at our church’s booth for this year’s Pride festival! Use our online signup to volunteer for a time slot or to bring donations. For more information, please contact Pastor Candy. 

Hospitality Team

Fellowship Hour on Sunday mornings is an important part of building community, and our Hospitality Team offers Fellowship Hour treats all throughout the program year. We’re seeking additional volunteers to help in this effort, offering baked goods, fruit, and more. If you would like to be added to the rotation for our Hospitality Team, please contact Jan Schultz.

Traveling this summer? Send us a postcard!

Summer is a great time to get away and do some sightseeing. While you’re traveling, consider picking up a postcard and sending it to your church family! We have summer packets available at the welcome desk. Each packet will include a church address label and a postcard stamp — just supply the postcard from your vacation destination and drop it in the mail! Packets also include information about our online services and a QR code to help you make an offering while on vacation.

In the coming weeks, stop by the display in the church Atrium to see the postcards as they arrive. We look forward to sharing in your summer travels!

Today, we announce the passing of two members of Wesley Church. 
Information for funeral arrangements may be found below. 

Please pray for their families and loved ones during this time of grief.
In this season, as in every season, our eternal hope is in Christ! 

Larry Miller, 93, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home.
The graveside funeral will follow at 11:30 AM at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.

Carl Mann, 73, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Wesley United Methodist Church. 
The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary. 
Burial will be private.

Christmas in July T-Shirts: Orders Due This Sunday!

On Sunday July 21, we’ll celebrate Christmas in July! By popular request, we’re bringing back our signature “It’s Always Christmas in Bethlehem” t-shirts.

Pre-orders are now open. Shirts are available for $15 each in adult sizes (S to 3X) and youth sizes (Y-XS to Y-XL). To place your order, please contact Pastor Candy and indicate the number of shirts (with sizes!) you would like to purchase. All orders are due by Sunday June 2.
