Garden Ministry Update

From Trickle to Triumph!
This week brought some exciting progress for the garden. After volunteers dug a trench, laid irrigation tubing and electric lines, and tested the flow, we now have a solid flow of water directly to the garden! Many thanks to Ricky Bell and John Niewoehner for their efforts in this project. 

What’s Next? 
We’ll continue the watering project by attaching fittings (like a hose bib). We have also secured 400 feet of 6-foot fencing, which will soon be attached to the posts — giving us much-needed protection from groundhog infiltration. Step by step, we’re making it happen! 

Spring Social
Let’s get together and celebrate in the Garden! Join us for a Spring Social on Wednesday June 4 at 6:30 PM. Please sign up if you can attend, and let us know what snack or beverage you can bring.

Baseball Ticket Orders Due This Week

Join us for Wesley’s Night at the Iron Pigs! This night of fun at Coca-Cola Park, organized by our church’s Men’s Group, will take place on Thursday June 19 at 6:45 PM. We’ll watch our Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs take on the Rochester Red Wings, and then enjoy fireworks after the game! Tickets are $20 each, and ticket orders are due by May 15. I give thanks for the opportunity to be in ministry with you, and I’m forever grateful that you allow me to try new things so that we can share God’s love in new ways.

We are thrilled to announce that Pastor Candy LaBar of Wesley Church has received the Harry Denman Evangelism Award from the Eastern PA Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church on March 29th. This award recognizes her dedication to spreading the message of faith, making disciples, and bringing others into life-altering relationships with Jesus Christ.

As her congregation can attest, Pastor Candy is continuously an inspiration to others to use their talents to serve the community- and we have been transformed by her leadership.
