Louis Williams Jr., 79, passed away on May 11, 2026.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 15, 2025, at 12:30 PM in the Sanctuary of Wesley United Methodist Church. Following the funeral service, a burial will take place at Nisky Hill Cemetery.

“Be In Touch” Team Training: Postponed
The training session for our “Be In Touch” visitation team, originally scheduled for Sunday January 25, has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The training will be rescheduled on Sunday February 1 after worship. Sweethearts Dinner Dance
The Backpack team is hosting a Sweethearts Dinner Dance on Valentine’s Day! Join us on Saturday February 14, 6:00-8:00 PM, for a romantic three-course dinner of salad, chicken piccata (with sides of pasta and vegetables), and dessert. There will also be a fun mocktail menu, music, and dancing. Doors will open at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $40 per couple and must be purchased in advance. All proceeds will benefit the Backpack program. Connect Sessions
Do you want to become more deeply engaged with the ministries of Wesley Church? Or are you interested in becoming a member of the church? Join Pastor Candy and church leaders for a three-part series of “connect sessions” designed to help you learn more about our church’s story, our United Methodist heritage, and the ways you can be actively involved in ministry.
The upcoming series of Connect Sessions will take place on June 7, 14, and 28 at 9:00 AM in the Chapel. (No session on June 21.) For more information, or to sign up, please contact Pastor Candy.
Volunteer as a Tech Team Sub!
Whenever we gather for worship, members of our Worship Tech Team use their gifts to run the sound board, worship slides, cameras, and livestream system to make our worship more accessible to those in the sanctuary and those who worship from home. We’re seeking new volunteers to serve as tech team subs, especially during the upcoming summer months when regular team members may be away on vacation. Get trained now to be ready for summer!
