A Card Shower for “Miss Heather”!
After serving as a children’s choir director for over three decades — including 24 years of service with the children’s chime choir (ARK – Amazing Ringing Kids) and children’s choir (JAM – Jesus and Me Choir) — our beloved director Heather Hunter will be retiring.
As a church family, we will celebrate her many years of service during our 10:00 AM worship service on July 17. We invite you to bring a card of thanks for Miss Heather that day. (Cards may also be dropped off at the church before July 17.)
News from BIG (Bethlehem Interfaith Group)
Register now for the 2022 Faith Crawl!
On Sunday, May 15, 3-6 PM, the Bethlehem Interfaith Group (BIG) will lead a touring visit of four houses of worship: Wesley UMC, Respect Graduate School, Congregation Brith Sholom, and Lehigh Valley Friends (Quakers).
Due to security and parking concerns, all participants must pre-register by May 1 for a spot on the Faith Crawl buses. Register by visiting bit.ly/374qFaZ.
Those who have mobility concerns and are unable to travel by bus are asked to contact Pastor Nina Patton-Semerod at pastornina.ps@gmail.com by May 1. As part of registration, you’ll have the option to order a BIG t-shirt at a cost of $10.

Socks for Maundy Thursday
Every Maundy Thursday (this year, on Thursday, April 14), we join Jesus and the disciples at the Last Supper. It’s a day that traditionally includes prayer, communion, and footwashing. This year, to honor the “footwashing” portion of Maundy Thursday, we’re asking you to bless the feet of others… by purchasing a package of new socks for this summer’s Backpack program! (Sizes needed: child medium or large, adult small.) We’ll pray over these socks during our Maundy Thursday worship service.
Save the Date — Confirmation Sunday, April 24
On Sunday April 24, we will have one blended service at 10 am as we celebrate the youth who are being confirmed at Wesley Church. After worship, we’ll gather for a reception in Fellowship Hall.
