Bring Christmas joy to others this year! Stop by the giving trees in our atrium — Mammy’s Angels, Be a Santa for Seniors, or Angel Tree (Salvation Army). Pick up a tag, sign up on the sheets, and offer gifts and goodies that will help make Christmas a little more special for someone else.

This year, Pastor Candy is taking on a new opponent in Penny Wars: our lay leader Mike Matacavage! Penny Wars is a game of friendly sabotage to help us raise money for the atrium carpeting project. Between now and Sunday, November 21, bring in your pennies (and other coins and cash, too!) and place them in the jars in the atrium.
How does Penny Wars work?
Donations in each contestant’s jar earn points. Pennies earn positive points (+1 per penny), and other change and cash earn negative points (a nickel is -5, a dollar bill is -100, etc.). At the end of Penny Wars, the contestant with the most points will be declared the winner… and the losing contestant will get a Thanksgiving pie in the face! (Join us between services on Sunday, November 28 for the pie-in-the-face fun.)
It’s time to decorate for Advent & Christmas to bring joy, light and fun to this blessed season. Join the decorating crew and help put the Christmas Trees together and decorate; hang wreath and garland; place candles around the sanctuary and many more wonderful decorations. Feel free to bring a snack to share, but there will be PIZZA! Sign up here or let Debbie Ace or Lisa Jacobsen know if you can come. Many hands make light work.
Stop by our holiday craft fair on Saturday November 19, 9:30 AM to 2 PM. Shop from local crafters to find your special holiday gifts! The kitchen will be open, and there will be special crafts for the kids. For more information, contact Debbie Ace.
And while you’re stopping by our craft fair, don’t forget to support our neighbors at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem! This year, we’ve coordinated our craft fairs to create a special two-stop shopping experience here on Center Street. The craft fair at First Presbyterian will take place on Saturday November 19, 9 AM – 2 PM, and Sunday November 20, 9 AM – 12:30 PM.
