Potluck Picnic — Christmas in July
Mark your calendars for a Wesley Church potluck picnic! Join us on Sunday July 24 (Christmas in July) after our blended worship service for a time to reconnect as a church family. We’ll gather in the Fellowship Hall and (weather permitting) the parking lot and grounds outside.
Please bring:
- A dish to share (Try new foods!)
- Reusable plates and silverware (Help the earth!)
- Picnic blankets or camp chairs (Enjoy sitting outside!)
- Some holiday spirit (It’s Christmas in July!)
The church will provide:
- Hot dogs and condiments
- Water and lemonade
- Extra plates and disposable silverware (for those who forget)
- Tables and chairs (for those who want to sit in Fellowship Hall)

Revelation Study Begins July 3 & 7

WHY: Are you confused by the book of Revelation? Are you afraid of the book? Are you wondering how it applies to your own life? You’re not alone. The book of Revelation is perhaps the most misunderstood and most misused book of the Bible. Yet it was originally intended to be one of the most encouraging and hope-filled letters to the early churches. That’s why we are offering a study suited for those who know their scripture by heart, as well as those who might not even own a Bible. Truly all are invited and encouraged to come find out why the book of Revelation is nothing to be afraid of, but rather something to be cherished.
WHAT TO BRING: There is no book to buy, no video to watch. Just bring you, your curiosity, and a Bible if you have one (Pastor Steph will have extras just in case).

Backpack Program Update!
The Backpack Team is hard at work preparing for the We’ve Got Your Back event on August 20. Backpacks and supplies are being ordered in the coming week and we are starting our work on sock and underwear donations. We will be hosting volunteer nights on Wednesdays in July (6, 13, 20, 27) to work on preparing the supplies for backpack stuffing in August and to start packaging socks and underwear.
We are also looking to get volunteers for the event day on August 20 signed up now so we can keep you up to date on all things Backpack until then. Look for some of our team members in the atrium after service on Sunday or fill out the interested volunteer form.

Summer Book Club
The summer book club is underway! Our first discussion — featuring Rachel Held Evans’ Inspired — will take place on Monday, June 20 at 6:30 PM.
