This week, I had the privilege of joining with two dynamic colleagues — Pastor Nina of Epworth United Methodist Church and Pastor Suzanne of Blessed Trinity Lutheran Parish — for our annual observance of the “Blue Christmas.” This service (also called Quiet Christmas or The Longest Night) creates a space for those who are struggling to discover some Christmas peace. It’s an honor to create that space, and a joy two work with these two fellow clergywomen!
Christmas Eve Update: Roadways and Parking Lot Clear!
Grow Three Sizes …
After wind storms yesterday downed trees and caused power outages, we are happy to report that Center Street is now clear, and power has been restored to the area!
Our parking lot has also been cleared and well-salted. However, please use caution when walking through the parking lot. At these low temperatures, icy spots may still remain.
We look forward to seeing you for Christmas Eve worship today! Merry Christmas!

Make an impact!
All of our ministries happen because of your gifts, and none of our ministries would happen without your gifts. Your generosity enables us to build community, meet needs, and change lives in our community and world!
This year, consider making a special gift to support our church’s ministries. Visit our church’s giving page to contribute to our general fund drive, or annual staff gift. Your generosity will make an incredible impact!
Meals for BES
Help those who are experiencing homelessness by supporting the work of the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter (BES)! Once each month, we provide hot meals, monitor the shower schedule, and offer a loving presence to the guests of the shelter. We will be serving our next meal on Monday January 16. We’ll be at the shelter from 4 PM to 9 PM, but shorter shifts are available to fit your schedule. To get involved, please contact our coordinator Becky Hess.
