Wesley Church Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Wesley Prayer Shawl Knitters
- The group gatherings are planned for the third Wednesday of each month 12:30 to 2:00p.m.
- Mark your calendars!
We create adult prayer shawls for those who need them and blankets for babies baptized in our church. Experience and rookie knitters and crocheters are welcome. We have plenty of yarn and needles to teach any who are interested.
We meet each month to create knitted and crocheted shawls for babies and adults who are baptized, and for adults who are facing surgery. Every person entering the Hospice center of the Visiting Nurses Association of St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem receives a Prayer Shawl.
Any woman interested in knitting or crocheting a Prayer Shawl at home — who cannot come at our Wednesday meeting times — please know you are invited to make shawls at home! You can give it to Karen Rose, any member of the group, or put it in the white metal closet closest to the back wall of the Youth Room, and tag it with their name.
We will attach a prayer gift card that we put on every shawl.
Contact Karen Rose at 610-657-5440 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information or questions.
