Pastor Steph

Pastor of Congregational Care

Pastor Steph

Stephanie graduated with a BS in French Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she met her husband Tim in the trombone section of the marching band.  Stephanie retired from teaching in 2014 and answered her call to ministry in 2016. Stephanie earned her MDiv from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pennsylvania in 2019 while serving as a Licensed Local Pastor in western Iowa. Her journey into ministry, and eventually here at Wesley, is filled with many “Jonah moments” which have given Stephanie the opportunity to experience life in many different spaces and places. Sometimes life just isn’t one straight line from start to finish.

Stephanie and Tim settled in Bethlehem in August of 2019 after years of moving from town to town, state to state, and country to country. It was then that they promised their sons, Tom and Lucas, that they will both graduate from BASD. That should keep Stephanie here until at least 2027!

Pastor of Congregational Care is a new title for Stephanie, but one that she is certain allows her to best use her gifts of compassion, support, and encouragement.

Together, Pastor Stephanie and the people of Wesley Church will continue to do great things in the mission of making disciples of Jesus for the transformation of the world.

Masking will remain optional at Wesley Church

In order to help you make an informed decision about your own mitigation practices, Wesley Church will share our county’s updated risk category and the CDC’s corresponding guidelines in each edition of our weekly enews.
We are currently in the “high risk” category. The CDC guidelines for the “high” category are:

Wear a mask indoors in public

Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines

Get tested if you have symptoms

Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness

  • Do you enjoy being creative with pictures and video?  Do you like telling a story through images?  We are looking for people who enjoy making videos, who can use technology to help represent some of the music we use in worship, and possibly other parts of the worship service such as announcements, testimonies, and more.  If this interests or excites you, please see Becky Graybeal for more details and to get plugged in!
