In honor of Mother’s Day, this month’s Giving Tree will benefit the Sixth Street Shelter in Allentown. The shelter assists families experiencing homelessness to secure safe housing through family-centered services, in-house programming, and referrals to community resources, all while advocating that affordable housing is a human right.
We will be collecting toilet paper, new shower curtains and rings, and new sets of glasses and plates. We will also pamper the moms of the shelter with gift bags of lotions, deodorant, toothpaste, and makeup. Donations are due by Sunday May 4. Thank you for your continued support to the community!
