Backpack Day | August 21, 2021
8 AM – Noon
This year will once again be a drive-thru event. Families can come through and get filled backpacks, new socks and underwear.
Since 2003, Wesley Church has distributed more than 12,000 backpacks filled with supplies for elementary school-aged children. We hold a one-day event on the third Saturday each August, where we distributed the backpacks and new socks and underwear. This page will let you know how you can help and includes details on this year’s event.

How Can You Help?
The backpack team is in need of your support. The following list includes how you can be a part of this year’s event.
Donations of Socks & Underwear
We are in need of lots of socks and underwear. The team has set up an Amazon wish list, where you can have the items shipped right to one of the coordinators. Click here to access what is needed. (FYI, we need more underwear than socks at this time).
Volunteer Day of Event
As we get closer to the event, we will include a signup for volunteers to help greet our guests and help them with the supplies they need.
***Special Donations Needed: We are looking for donations of hand sanitizer and wipes for the volunteers.***
