“Giving Tuesday” is an annual day of widespread generosity that falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Established in response to the more commercialized post-Thanksgiving events (such as “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday”), Giving Tuesday invites us to use our resources charitably, to support programs and causes that are most important to us, and to invest in the good work that is happening in our local communities. We encourage you to participate in Giving Tuesday this year!

Through our “That’s So ’90s” capital campaign, we are seeking to raise $705,000 over the next three years to replace our church’s roof and HVAC systems, which were installed back in the ’90s and have now reached the end of their 30-year lifespans. Support our community partners!
The work of ministry doesn’t happen in a vacuum. We engage with community partners and resource organizations — some of which were birthed in our own church! — to do the work of ministry. There are many ways to give to the church! We partner with the Mid-Atlantic Faith Foundation to process donations in various forms. Have you reached the age for required minimum distributions from an IRA? Have your financial institution forward those distribution funds directly to the church! You’ll make a difference… and experience a tax benefit too. Do you have shares of stock that are just sitting in your portfolio?
