We announce the passing of Pastor Debbie Kauffman,
who served as Pastor of Congregational Care
at Wesley Church from 2019 through 2021. 
Information for funeral arrangements may be found below.

Rev. Dr. Deborah “Debbie” Steelman Kauffman, 77, passed away on December 15, 2025. 

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (2 East Broad St., Paulsboro NJ). Visitation will extend from 9:30 AM until the start of the service.

Blue Christmas

For many, the Advent and Christmas seasons are the most joyful time of the year… but for others, the holiday season can be a time of deep struggling. If you are struggling with loss, stress, grief, or any life situation that prevents you from feeling joyful during this season, we invite you to join us for a “Blue Christmas” service. This year’s service will take place on Sunday December 21 (the longest night of the year) at 4:00 PM at Epworth UMC. For more information, please contact Pastor Candy.
