This week — the first week of the season of Lent — I’m gearing up for the first session of this year’s Lenten study. Produced by our District Superintendent, and featuring video teaching sessions from clergy in our district, this year’s study focuses on seven things God hates (as recorded in Proverbs 6:16-19)… and, conversely, seven things God loves and seeks to nurture in us.
Our study will take place via Zoom on Monday evenings, 7:00-8:15 PM, beginning February 22. Yours truly will be leading the first session, with subsequent sessions led by some of the very capable and deeply insightful study group leaders of Wesley Church!
