Each year, our Ash Wednesday traditions include the imposition of ashes and the celebration of holy communion. Of course, the realities of COVID-19 have compelled us to embrace new ways of maintaining these sacred traditions! This year, we will offer our Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:30 PM via Facebook Livestream only.

To better enable you to participate in worship from home, we are making the elements of Ash Wednesday worship — ashes, bread, and juice — available for pickup ahead of time. Please sign up here using the following link to indicate when you would like to pick up your supplies.

Drive-Through Ashes

On Ash Wednesday (Wednesday, February 17) we’ll offer three opportunities to receive the imposition of ashes in drive-through format. Pastor Debbie will be offering ashes from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and Pastor Candy will be offering ashes from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. To receive ashes, come to the drive-through circle at the church’s front entrance and wait in your car. (At that time, you can also pick up your communion elements for the evening Livestream service — contact the church office for more info!)
