The Tenth Day:
Ten Lords A-Leaping
We don’t just dance for joy… sometimes, we leap for joy! But just as we all know people in our lives who aren’t dancing anymore, we also know people in our lives who just aren’t leaping anymore. Whether it’s a COVID-related struggle or some other kind of struggle, the fact remains: life’s difficulties have kept their feet fettered to the ground, have kept them from leaping for joy like the lords of this song.
So, in a mirror of yesterday’s challenge: on this tenth day, identify a “lord,” so to speak — any man in your life — who just isn’t “leaping” anymore, who has experienced some kind of joy-stifling struggle as of late.
Reach out to him. Encourage him. Come up with some way to surprise him. Affirm the role he has played in your life. Find a way to bring him a little joy today.
