Prayer concerns/hospitalizations: Our prayer team is continuing to meet by Zoom — and while they can’t collect your prayer cards on Sunday morning, they can still pray for all your joys and concerns! Do you have a prayer to lift up in this season of social distancing? Email Pastor Debbie at pastordebbie@wesleychurch.com. Please know that all prayers will be kept in the confidence of our prayer team; no prayer requests will be read during our Sunday morning livestreams. While COVID-19 is currently preventing visitors (including pastors) from visiting our local hospitals, we still want to pray with those who are hospitalized! If you are hospitalized during this pandemic, please contact Pastor Debbie at pastordebbie@wesleychurch.com. We can pray for you as a prayer team, and even pray with you via phone, text, email, or Zoom.
Shopping Help
Grocery stores may still be open, but for many (including those with certain health conditions and those who are senior citizens), going out to shop for food feels like a risk. We’re here to help! If you are concerned about exposure to coronavirus and would like someone in the church to pick up your grocery order for you, please email WesleyShopper@gmail.com. We’ll be in touch as soon as we receive your request!
Professional Resume Assistance
Resume Help: As coronavirus continues to negatively impact our economy, many have now faced the economic uncertainty of layoffs and furloughs. Meg Ksenzakovic, a Wesley member with professional experience in human resources, has offered to provide assistance to those who need help with resumes. Want more information? Zoom Bible Study
Bible Study: Study scripture remotely through Pastor Candy’s Zoom Bible study! We’ll be diving into the book of Genesis by using a resource from some of my favorite authors: “Genesis for Normal People” by Peter Enns and Jared Byas. It’s available as a Kindle download through Amazon — so you can get it right away! There’s still time to join — hope to “see” you via Zoom.
