Wider Circle Book Club
Starting this November, join Pastor Candy for the first session of the “Wider Circle” Book Club. This book club will take place in the library every other Monday at 12:30 PM, starting November 4. Why a daytime book club? It’s our hope to connect with some of our Wesley Circle of Friends preschool families with a schedule that coincides with preschool pickup, as well as to connect with those in our church who have flexible daytime/lunchtime schedules. That’s one way we can draw our Wesley “circle” even wider!
Our first selection will be Rachel Held Evans’ Searching for Sunday: Loving, Leaving, and Finding the Church, a personal memoir about the beautiful messiness of community, faith, and grace.
