The Wesley Prayer Group is composed of our Pastors, individuals and couples from the church. We read the prayer requests sent by others and those given orally to the pastors and individuals. We pray for those named and for requests and for their situations. You do not need to be a professional at praying, just the desire to commit to praying for others!
Pastor Candy and Pastor Debbie relay the prayer requests from the church office from the comments sent to the Church or by written prayer requests during our weekly worship service. Requests from church members or friends are also relayed by the individual Prayer Group members. Each prayer request is discussed (while honoring requests for confidentiality), with prayers said for the individuals or the situation. We contact the requestor only if more information is necessary. We have also sent a Prayer Card encouraging the individual or for the situation.
The Wesley Prayer Group meets at 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings, currently by way of ZOOM. When we are able to return physically to the church, we will meet in the church office area.
Thankfully, so many people have continued to support us through our shutdown (financially as well as in other ways) that we feel truly blessed.
We are interested in adding new members to the Prayer Group at Wesley. It might be that you could not join the Prayer Group physically but would be able to say prayers for others at your home. That is always a possibility. Call or write for more information.

Keep on praying, friends, and remember:
Our God is bigger than coronavirus.
Our vision is bigger than coronavirus, too.
We are people blessing people.
We are Wesley Church.
