Caregiver Support
It is estimated that family caregivers spend an average of twenty hours per week on caregiving tasks. Caregivers often feel isolated, overwhelmed and overextended. Caregivers often need help from outside sources but do not have the time to search for them. Wesley Church wants to help.
Caregiver support groups give opportunities for co-workers, family members, and friends to meet with other caregivers to discuss their specific situations and concerns.
Support groups can educate and inform, as well as provide a safe, supportive community in which to walk the caregiving journey with others who understand.
