An engaging approach to discipleship from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective
A Disciple’s Path, an adult Sunday School program, starts October 29
-
- Great course for prospective members
- For 5 weeks
- Sundays at 10:15 – 11:30 am during Adult Sunday School in Fellowship Hall
- Learn and understand belonging to Christ, each other and our church
- Led by Pastors Andy and Bob
We all need to belong — somewhere and to someone. The need to belong is so strong it could more accurately be called a longing. Have you ever wondered where that longing comes from? Our deepest need to belong will only be filled when we belong to Christ and do as He did —give our lives in service to others.
Belonging to the body of Christ is a natural result of belonging to Jesus Christ Himself. But belonging to a local church is a decision. It is like joining a family through marriage. It is important for you to know the family you are joining.
Through the A Disciple’s Path class, you will come to know the Wesley family more fully. Before you decide to commit to Wesley as your local church, please consider what we believe and the role God has called us to play in the world. It is our hope that you will join us in fulfilling our mission and vision.
The classes will be sprinkled with short videos, Wesley staff and ministry leaders stopping by as well as interactive discussions.

This Daily Workbook contains six weeks of daily readings (five per week) that guide participants in learning and practicing seven essential spiritual disciplines:
- Prayer
- Scripture Meditation
- Corporate Worship
- Small-group Community
- Financial Generosity
- Gifts-based Service
- Invitational Evangelism
Each day’s reading includes a Scripture, a message for the day, questions and prompts for personal reflection (with space provided for recording responses), and prayer. A special introductory section includes material on the history, beliefs, and structure of the church and answers to frequently asked questions.
